Main Form

The Main form is Addict's starting point and the first window you see when it starts up.

It contains the list of tasks, main menu, log in button and clock:

List of Tasks

Occupying most of the main form, this list contains information on all Addict's tasks. The first time you run Addict, this list will be empty. If the list contains more than 2 tasks you can sort it by clicking on the column headings.

The Menu Options

 File

 Options - Invokes the options form.

 Change Password - Of course, use this to change current password. Available only if you have elected to use the password in the options form.

 Log in / Log out - Available only if you have elected to use the password in the options form. Has the same effect as clicking the Log-in button (described below). For more info, see password description.

 Register - Enter your registration code to register Addict. Once registered, this option will disappear. When your trial period has expired, Addict may automatically default to this option on start up. In order to obtain your registration code, see registration info.

 Hide - This option has the same effect as clicking the minimize button . The Addict window will close, but you can re-access Addict by double-clicking or right-clicking the picture of eyeball in the taskbar (usually located in the lower right corner of the screen).

 Exit - This option has the same effect as clicking the close button . Available only if there are no tasks outstanding (if the task list is empty).

 Task

 New - Create a new task.

 Delete - To delete a task, select it from the task list (by clicking on it), then choose this option or press Delete.

 Help

 Contents - Accesses this help file. You can also do that at any time by pressing F1.

 About - Includes basic info on this version of Addict.

Log-in Button

Clicking this button located in the lower left corner has the same effect as choosing the Log in / Log out option described above. In addition, you can determine your current password status by the look of this button. For a details, see password description.

Clock

Located in the lower right corner. Pretty self-explanatory, don't you agree?
